AWARDS NIGHT 2010
This Saturday night the June 5th the league will hold it’s fourth annual awards night at The Gables in Athea. We have twenty two league divisions and there will players of the year awards for each division and this is recognition of how well the players have performed over the course of the past season. It is the first year in the leagues history that we will be presenting player of the years awards to schoolgirls which is another fantastic achievement for the league. This is a great honour for all players concerned, their families and their clubs and the players efforts will be recognised on Saturday night. Also on the night the 2010 Munster U12 Champions will receive their winner’s medals following their fantastic win over Waterford in the Final. The team will also receive their All Ireland Final runners up medals following their historic march to the final in which they played the DDSL. This team brought huge honour to the league and thoroughly deserved to be recognised on the night. We will also be presenting Inter League player of the year awards at both U12 & U14.

Proceedings for the 2009 Limerick Desmond Schoolboys/Girls League Awards Night will get underway at 9.15pm and admission is €5 per adult, children are free. So come along and see the future stars of your club and the Limerick Desmond League and for further details contact any member of the committee.
