The 2010 Kennedy Cup gets underway in UL today with thirty one leagues striving to dethrone DDSL as champions. Once again Limerick Desmond will be involved and we are drawn in Group 4 along with Galway, Midlands and Drogheda. This year we are seeded two behind Galway with Midlands seeded three and Drogheda seeded four. Our first game is this evening at 5pm when we play Midlands and tomorrow we have two games, the first is against Drogheda (kick off 12 noon) and tomorrow evening we play Galway (kick off 7pm).
The following panel of twenty players have being selected to represent Limerick Desmond in UL next week –

The squad will be captained by David O’Mahony and the vice-captain will be Ross Mann both of Kilcornan AFC.
The Limerick Desmond Schoolboys/Girls League would like to wish manager John Fennessy and his team of Eunan McDaid, Franny Walsh and Frank Downes and all the players involved the very best in the Kennedy Cup in UL next week.
