U/16 Div 1
Newcastle West Rovers are the only side to have a hundred per cent record in division one after their one nil win away to Abbeyfeale Utd last Thursday night with the games only goal coming from Gavin Reidy ten minutes into the second half. Next on the table comes Athea Utd and Kilcornan on four points after they drew two all at The Vales. Dylan Griffin gave the homeside the lead after two minutes but by half time Kilcornan had nosed ahead with a penalty from Jack Stokes and a second right on half time from Tony McCarthy. It was looking good for the visitors but a well struck free kick from Maurice Hayes in the last minute ensured a point for Athea. Newcastle West bounced back from their opening day defeat with a two one away win in Ballingarry. The visitors led by a Jeff Kadima goal at half time and in the second half Daragh Quilligan extended their lead before Padraig Lynch pulled a goal back in the closing stages.

U/16 Div 2
Killeaney made it two wins from two with a five nil win away to Ferry Rangers with goals from Eddie Sweeney (2), Paul Culhane (2) and Aiden Enright and they now have a three point lead over second placed Creeves Celtic.

U/16 Div 3
St Itas maintained their one point lead at the top of division three after coming away from Adare with a one all draw. After a scoreless opening half John Wall put Adare ahead but the saints, thanks to Damien Brouder returned with a point with a goal five minutes from time. Glantine were doubly engaged last week and they started with a four two loss at home to Glin Rovers despite leading two one at half time with a Gareth Lomasney brace. Glantine though bounced back in style two nights later with a seven two win at home to Pallaskenry with a player of the match performance from Fiachra Cotter who hit a superb five timer while Gareth Lomasney scored a brace to bring his total to four goals in two games.
